Mission Statement
HOPE Murals is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides adolescent youth with an interactive experience of creative expression via an urban arts platform that stimulates both mental and physical development.
Engaging the youth at the Juvenile Detention Center
HOPE Murals JDC, provides adolescent youth, who are currently detained at the Miami Dade County Juvenile Detention Center, with an interactive Art-Based-Youth-Development experience of creative expression via an urban arts visual platform.
Community Outreach
HOPE Murals Outreach leads community based programming that introduces the youth/adults to contemporary street art, ranging from images found in local neighborhoods, to foreign towns abroad, exposing participants to the vast culture of murals and graffiti art, which exist on walls everywhere, far beyond familiar zip codes.
Art Academy
HOPE Murals Academy, is an Arts Based Youth Development 'school-based' model that is founded on an 'Experiential' methodology, that first immerses students in a creative artistic process that encourages personal reflections about HOPE via the lessons learned from life's trials and tribulations.
