An Academy of Hope

HOPE Murals Academy, is an Arts Based Youth Development 'school-based' model that is founded on an 'Experiential' methodology, that first immerses students in a creative artistic process that encourages personal reflections about HOPE via the lessons learned from life's trials and tribulations.

The goal is to have participants develop new skills, new attitudes, and new ways of thinking about both their present and future self. This process serves as the foundation for youth to experience the natural process of “Self-Efficacy”, an individual's belief in his or her own innate ability to achieve goals.
